Metal
Fabricators

Both in mild-steel and stainless-steel fabrication shops.

The Metal Fabricators are part of the Fabrications team who work with mild-steel and stainless-steel. The Metal Fabricator will work from technical drawings; bringing the product from the technical drawing through to cutting, bending, drilling and on to a complete finish product.

As we are a jobbing shop a lot of items are bespoke products in both the mild and stainless steel. The Metal Fabricator is responsible for the component which is made to measure in accordance with the technical drawing.

Main Duties:

  • Read, Interpret and translate 3D technical drawings to component specifications
  • Ensure accuracy by taking measurements
  • Guarantee components are completed as per required specification
  • Inspect finished product and problem solve defects and repairs effectively where required
  • Complete jobs to a high-quality finish in line with company standards/processes
  • Communicate effectively to team members, colleagues and management, follow instruction and planning schedules
  • Uphold all Company, Quality and Health and Safety procedures/standards at all times
  • Support relevant strategies to achieve company objectives

Minimum Requirements:

  • Evidence to show no restrictions to work in the Republic of Ireland on a full-time basis
  • Demonstrate a high fluency of spoken and written English language
  • Proficient with Mig/Tig welding
  • Previous relevant experience in Fabrication/Engineering Industry manufacturing environment
  • Be a self-starter, display the ability to work on your own initiative, within specific planning timeframes and to a high-quality finish
  • Be available to work a rostered 40-hour week plus overtime when business needs dictate
